It seemed so far away and then all of a sudden WHAM it’s here in 2 days time! Blimey!

I also don’t want to ever leave anyone out so, even if this is a Christmas theme, its not only for that. this is a celebration of awesome Vegan food for any special meal.

Anyway, lets get on with the drooling!

I thought I’d start with this lovely idea from @Chrissiesgob:

‘My Version of a traditional #Christmas #starter. Substitute Prawns for #Avocado’

What a Fab idea! Make #marierose sauce using Mayo, ketchup, worcester/soy sauce and Tabasco. Yum!

I love the idea of this black #lentil #pate with #cranberry relish from @JoyOfYum.

How about Faux Fois Grois!? Thank you to @Ephemerienne. Sowing there really is NO need for Cruelty to animals when it comes to food. #crueltyfree.

This is a very eye catching idea from @apriltui. #Rawvegan #courgette rolls. Lovely! How about some Dehydrated #corn chips for those dips you are making?

@AQuietVegan makes this suggestion:

‘Slices of tofu frankfurters, pickles and cherry tomatoes go well with pre-lunch drinks too (and a nice alt. to olives)’

This is one of mine Colourful #couscous #lettuce cups with #peanut sauce. Nice in the summer but also works very well as a light starter. Or some #kale and #potato #empenadas?

This is a useful link from @VivaCampaigns for lots of #Christmas inspiration. This link is also fabulous! from ‘Vegan for the holidays’ You could also try Jamie Oliver’s new offerings. He’s had a bash at Vegan food. It looks lovely but, I think we could ALL show him a thing or two couldn’t we!

I think a loaf of some sort is lovely. It satisfies my want for a main ‘thing’ to go with the Veggie mountain! This idea from @SentientChef is fab. Seed and #carrot roast loaf. It is also #glutenfree. This is another option suggested by @JasmineTrinity Brussels #sprout and #chestnut bake.  Another one of mine, #Courgette, #leek and #carrot #lentil loaf. There is also a creamy sauce to go with it here. Fancy #Lemon and #sage #chickpea loaf using #Deesausages?
